Season Two of the award-winning Perplex City begins on 1 March with the release of 84 delightfully devious puzzle cards – and a whole new puzzle portal.
Season One of Perplex City saw the release of mind-blowing puzzle cards, which led to a global treasure hunt and a prize of $200,000.
Now, Season Two begins, with the simultaneous launch of a new wave of cards and a brand new puzzle portal at PerplexCity.com
Cards will be available in packs of six.
Players can buy packs of the cards, solve the puzzles, and enter their answers at PerplexCity.com to score points, earn kudos in the community and win fantastic prizes.
Each card carries a unique ID number, ensuring that every player can claim the points they earn.
The puzzles themselves are beautifully designed and vary in complexity, from pleasantly simple to devilishly difficult.
Last season’s cards used heat-sensitive ink, microdots, ultra-violet effects and even scratch’n’sniff to hide clues and the forthcoming set of cards will be even more inventive!
Each pack of six cards also includes an additional ‘warm-up card’ with a traditional Japanese puzzle.
In Season Two, there are a total of 256 cards, released in three waves.
The first wave (1 March) includes 84 cards, with the second and third waves due to follow at 4-5 month intervals.
